ENGIE Axima is France’s leading supplier of water extinguisher systems and fire protection installations

We manage your projects from start to finish

Our services range from design to build, plus the maintenance and monitoring of the performance of our customers’ installations.

Our subsidiary, Promat Sécurité, now distributes, installs, maintains and rents fire protection, gas detection and respiratory protection equipment.

The integration of Promat Sécurité makes ENGIE Axima the best placed and most complete service provider to meet all your needs for the protection of property and people against fire.

Each branch office has its own sales force, an engineering office, a works department and a maintenance department. Our central organization is manned by technical experts who support our branch offices and our customers in their projects.

Our staff precisely identifies the customer’s needs with partners of their own choosing (insurers, accident prevention specialists, prime contractors, etc.).

Our processes are designed to develop your installations with the support of:

  • our contract managers, who are in direct contact with our customers
  • our engineering teams and technical experts
  • our prefabrication workshops, which are audited by the CNPP
  • our works and maintenance teams
  • our regulatory inspection teams

The prefabrication and electricity workshops

ENGIE Axima Sécurité Incendie has its own workshops for the prefabrication of piping and sheet metal parts, and the fabrication of electrical cabinets. Thanks to these workshops, we can offer a commitment to the quality of our systems, by controlling their fabrication.

Atelier de préfabrication mécanique

The mechanical prefabrication workshop

This workshop prefabricates antennas and collectors made of black painted or galvanized steel that are used for fire protection.

Atelier électricité

The electrical workshop

The electrical workshop makes the skids and distribution cabinets that are used on our sites.

Our strengths:

  • ISO 9001 certification
  • Quality-of-build checks before shipment
  • Factory acceptance tests

The Promat Sécurité periodical inspection workshop for pressurized equipment

Promat Sécurité has its own workshop for the inspection and requalification of CRP-certified pressurized cylinders (extinguishers, oxygen and gas cylinders). The cylinders must be regularly retested (see the table of periodical inspections) in order to be compliant.

For more information

Promat Sécurité is certified to perform these inspections in its own workshops. Contact us.

The mobile workshop: test your breathing apparatus on your own site

Promat Sécurité operates a fleet of mobile workshops to check its customers’ breathing apparatus directly on site. These vehicles are equipped with the means required to perform regulatory checks of airtight breathing apparatus for customers requiring high quantities of equipment, or appliances that are used for very short periods, for example.

The gas detector and beacon inspection and calibration laboratories

Promat Sécurité has four gas detector and beacon inspection and calibration laboratories.

These workshops perform the regulatory 6-monthly calibrations in order to guarantee the stability of detection of the cells in the appliances.

They also prepare the equipment before delivery and provide the after-sales service.

If an item of equipment breaks down or is unavailable for a long time, appliances are also available for hire.

Promat Sécurité is the leading distributor of BW by Honeywell gas detectors in France, in terms of volume.

It has sufficient resources to perform quality control operations for its customers and to give advice on the choice of appliance and its use.

The FIT-TEST is a device that checks the airtightness of respiratory masks according to the morphology of the user.

This test has already been compulsory in the United States for many years, and is gradually being introduced in France, especially in the petrochemicals industry.

This test is performed on site or in our workshops. Qualified technicians perform a series of tests on the users wearing their usual masks.

A certificate with details of the results is issued after the tests.
